Zero Emissions Transition Plan
Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA)
Transpo developed a Zero Emissions Transition Plan that outlines the current and future advancements in zero emissions vehicle technology, assesses the feasibility of transitioning WTA’s fleet to these technologies, estimates the capital needed for vehicles, infrastructure, and operating costs, evaluates the potential greenhouse gas emissions savings, and provides a comprehensive fleet transition strategy including vehicle replacement.
Electric Vehicle Feasibility Analysis
Jefferson Transit Authority (JTA)
Transpo helped JTA evaluate the feasibility of transitioning to electric buses by reviewing current technologies and modeling JTA's bus routes and driver profiles. We conducted a lifecycle cost analysis, including capital and operational costs, and assessed necessary infrastructure upgrades with the local utility. Additionally, we estimated the potential greenhouse gas savings from switching to a fully electric fleet.
Electric Bus Feasibility Study
Port of Seattle
Transpo provides on-call service toTranspo led the development of a Needs Analysis evaluation of converting the Port’s bus fleet to an all-electric fleet. The team analyzed existing operations and facilities to identify the feasibility of conversion. The feasibility analysis included a total cost of ownership calculation and compared the life-cycle cost of electric buses and the required infrastructure for converting the entire bus fleet to electric vehicles.
