Parking Consulting Services

City of Glendale, CA

Transpo prepared parking management strategies for the Downtown and Montrose neighborhood on- and off-street parking. We used a data driven approach to guide decisions, strategies and policies. Performance-based parking management strategies were developed to determine when and where to implement paid parking.

Seattle Center
Parking Study

City of Seattle, WA

Transpo prepared a strategic parking master plan for the Uptown Neighborhood and Seattle Center. Our work included an extensive data collection effort, stakeholder outreach, parking demand model and strategies that balanced the needs of the City, neighborhood, and businesses in the area. We addressed challenges related to redevelopment of the Mercer Garage, impacts of lost revenue, impacts of high-capacity transit, and feasibility of replacing through public/private partnerships.

Permit Parking Program

City of SeaTac, WA

SeaTac’s parking system was experiencing pressures related to growth in the areas surrounding the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac Airport) and the Sound Transit light rail stations. Transpo assisted the City in developing a permit program that would maximize availability of parking, improve safety, support compliance, and provide a policy framework. The program was developed to meet near- and long-term needs by having community buy-in, on-going performance metrics to manage demands, and an attainable funding plan.
