Transpo engineered designs for two fish-passable structures in Bellingham, WA. Managing the Electrical and MOT Task force meetings, the team collaborated with WSDOT, the City of Bellingham, Whatcom Transit Authority, and other stakeholders.
SR 11, connecting I-5 to the Fairhaven neighborhood, underwent temporary closures for fish barrier replacement. Transpo engaged with local stakeholders addressing concerns which ensured minimal impacts on pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicular traffic during the project.
